All that really needs to be said today is that this lady right here, Lisa Dixon, is a rock star.

She has been working on getting everything we need for weeks, arranged to have it all selected and boxed up from Mahe and delivered here to Praslin. Today we checked in on the store that is housing the goods and will bring us this haul to the marina tomorrow. An extra big thank you to Julianne and Katrina at ISPC who are also rock stars.

We spent the day filling in the small grocery holes at a variety of small shops and markets, which also gave us a chance to sightsee a bit. I procured what I hope will be effective internet for blogging but we will see once we set sail. Thank you Maggie at Airtel!

Dinner was brought to us by Nicole, manager of our rental flat (SeaSplash Self Catering). Our accommodations have been so great to fall into and the tuna she made us tonight just might be the best piece of fish I’ve ever eaten (at least since Hawaii :) ).

Lou Lou, I never doubted you and yet I’m still so impressed. Romesy, your support has kept her (and me!) going! Wherever I drag these two, they get it done. I love you both for this and more. Our guests will try all sorts of new fruits and produce this week (don’t worry, we did NOT buy the salted shark or salted barracuda).

Early to bed for us and a welcome slow start tomorrow. Midday we will collect Alina and Zack, all of the gear and all of the shopping and move it all to the yacht.

Pics from our day as I hit the hay.

Heather

I think this will be what Lisa’s dreams look like tonight.
